This guide covers the full cluster creation flow, including package selection and provisioning stages.

Select a region
Section titled “Select a region”Choose the region closest to your users or compliance requirements. All regions are in the EU.
Create the cluster
Section titled “Create the cluster”- Log in to the kubestart dashboard.
- Click Create Cluster.
- Select your desired package, region, and billing period.
- Complete the Stripe checkout.
- You’re redirected to the dashboard where provisioning begins automatically.
Provisioning stages
Section titled “Provisioning stages”After checkout, your cluster moves through these stages:
Initiated
Section titled “Initiated”The order is recorded and cluster configuration is generated. This happens instantly.
Provisioning
Section titled “Provisioning”The platform creates your cluster’s resources: namespace, resource quotas, network policies, DNS records, TLS certificates, and the cluster itself. This is the longest stage, typically taking 2–3 minutes.
Completed
Section titled “Completed”Your cluster is ready. The Kubernetes API server is responding at {cluster-id}.k8s.kubestart.io and your kubeconfig is available for download.
What if provisioning fails?
Section titled “What if provisioning fails?”Provisioning is retried automatically. If a cluster remains stuck, contact support — your configuration is preserved and can be re-applied.
Next steps
Section titled “Next steps”- Download Kubeconfig — connect to your new cluster.
- Manage Add-ons — enable monitoring, ingress, and more.
- Resource Quotas — understand the limits of your package.
